After a trip to the dentist for some major dental work, I found myself without feeling in the entire lower half of my face from the numbing agents used during the procedure. This left me thinking, "Wouldn't it be fun to read the opening passages of some of the most celebrated works of literature of all time, while completely unable to feel my face?"
